Privacy Policy

The short version: Prove counts your reps on your own device. No video or images are ever recorded or sent anywhere, and we don't run ad networks, trackers, or analytics.

Who we are

Prove ("we," "us") is an iOS app that wakes you with an alarm you dismiss by doing exercise reps, counted by your device's camera. You can reach us anytime at maxmahnken08@gmail.com.

Camera

Prove uses the camera only while an alarm is active, to count your exercise reps with Apple's on-device Vision framework. The camera feed is processed live on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or anyone else. We never see it.

Motion & Fitness

If you use a step-based mission, Prove reads your step count through Apple's Core Motion, on your device, to confirm you got moving. This data is not collected by us.

Your account (Sign in with Apple)

Signing in is optional. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we store your name and the email (or Apple's private relay email) that Apple provides, so the app can greet you and keep your subscription and streaks tied to you. This information is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, synced through your own iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). We do not operate a server that collects or stores it, and we cannot read your iCloud data.

Alarms, streaks & workout history

Your alarms, streak, and workout history live on your device and sync through your personal iCloud account. They are yours; we have no access to them.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the app whether your subscription is active — we never receive your payment card or billing details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

What we do not do

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Profile → Sign Out & Delete Account Data to remove your sign-in and name from the device. Deleting the app removes all remaining local data. To remove iCloud-synced data, sign out of the app and delete it; you can also manage app data in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud.

Children

Prove is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Third-party services

Prove relies on Apple services — Sign in with Apple, iCloud (CloudKit), and the App Store (StoreKit). Your use of those is also covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
